#104 - Why 2022 HAS TO BE the Best Year Ever!
At the start of every year, we are all hopeful that this new year will be better than the last. We have a tradition of making New Year's resolutions, where we create goals for the coming year. But the question is: Do we intend to achieve these goals? Or do we just let fate take its course and hope that our lives will be significantly better? To achieve the goals we’ve set for ourselves, we must change a habit, trait, behavior, or mindset that we previously had to get our desired outcome.
Sometimes, the lack of clarity about what it is that we really want is what's holding us back from growing. The North Star goal helps us be clear on what we want, which provides us with the motivation to take on our life and do things we didn’t know we’re capable of. It helps us grow and begin to reap all the benefits of having a life worth living.
In this week’s episode, Andrew highlights the importance of transforming oneself first in order to achieve one’s goals. He talks about how the North Star goal can help you figure out what type of person you want to become.

And if you enjoy life, and you know, winning at life and the fulfillment of reaching your goals and getting rid of bad habits, this is the place to be. This is a new year. It's 2022, baby. And if you're ready to absolutely conquer your life and reclaim it as being the owner of your destiny, then listen to this podcast and let's have an amazing 2022.
Welcome back to the podcast, everybody. Happy 2022, everybody! It's a new year, and we are still here. So we have a lot to celebrate. I am doing another solo cast and the reason is this. I have to get this message out to you. It is urgent. It is fundamental. Because at the start of every year, people are hopeful. It's a new year. Hopefully, this year is going to be better than the last. That's what we all want. That's what we all hope. But in many cases, we don't plan for that to happen. We don't change anything. We just have this blind faith that circumstances beyond our control are going to somehow get better, and that's ridiculous. Do not live like that. High Noon is really all about, we've evolved into an entity that helps you to create the future of your choosing so that you can have everything that you want, so that you can live in the High Noon Light, live in the light of freedom. But you have to understand what that means to you. You have to take the time to look within yourself and admit what it is that you truly want, and to invest your time and energy into that. And to unplug from all those habits that you have, thoughts that you have, emotions that you have that are draining your potential for that to ever take place and clearly fired up.
This is really, really important. This all comes back to the North Star goal. The reason I'm going to talk about this a little bit is because you can predict the future. And I don't mean that you can get a magic ball and know what happens precisely on this date, or that you can buy some Sports Almanac and bet on all the right sporting events and become a multi-millionaire and create a gambling casino like in Back to the Future 2. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about the events. There's a lot of prophets and prophecies who talk about the future events that are going to take place. We know for a fact, thanks to the divine principle, that all prophecies have a dual nature. This could happen or this could happen depending on how humanity is. What I'm talking about is you can predict who you are, how you live, how you react based on who you create yourself into. If you become the type of person that has complete mind-body unity, then you can guarantee that you are not going to do something really crazy and destructive because your mind has control over your body. You're not just going to eat yourself into oblivion. If you have control over your emotions, then you can guarantee that you're not going to just start yelling at everybody and punching people in the streets and all that. It just wouldn't make sense because that's not who you are.
And a lot of times, what happens is people set goals at the beginning of the year and they want to achieve those goals as the same person, and it never works out. You need to change yourself, who you are, in order to get the results that you want. And this is the process of reclaiming your mind, your heart, your spirit, and subsequently, your body. Now, the North Star goal, the value of the North Star goal is that it challenges you to a great degree to figure out what it is that you really want. And like I've been saying recently a lot, I keep on asking those people that I'm serving, the people in my groups, the people that I have one-on-one calls with, what do you want? I have people that are constantly wasting time. And they say, I don't want to waste my time. I want to do something. I keep on saying, what? What is it that you really want? Why are you avoiding life? Why don't you just go after the things that you really have deep in your heart?
If your heart sends out a signal and it passes your conscience, it clears your conscience, go for it. Go after it with great discrimination. Not towards other people but be discriminate with your time and energy. Do not do a bunch of other stuff. Focus your energy on doing that. The power of that goes back to the Divine Principle of giving and taking action. What you're doing is you're creating a sense of momentum in your life. You're creating this infatuation with life itself. This energy that you're pouring into the things that you want in life starts to eclipse all the other things that you don't want in your life. All the annoyances in your life cease to have power over you when you have something that you're invested in that you truly care about. That starts to take over your mind. If you can imagine, you start to think obsessively about the things that you want if you can identify what they are.
They start to produce all sorts of emotions, and that starts to produce all sorts of action. But everything starts is predicated on, first and foremost, knowing what it is that you deeply want. And here's the thing. Most people, when they set New Year's goals, they set external-based goals. I want to lose weight. I want to make more money. I want to climb the corporate ladder. I want to become fancier by getting super skinny jeans, or I want to upgrade my life for some external measurement. I want to travel the world. Whatever the case may be, I want to enter a relationship. These are all external. And they will not, in any way, shape, or form, change you unless you first change yourself. This is the paradox. When we set external goals, I want to lose weight, or I want to go to the gym, great. That's not a bad goal. Physical health is great. But the chances of you actually accomplishing what it is that you truly want are very minimal, in fact, because you can go to the gym every single day. But if you don't know why you're going, if you don't know why you want to lose that weight, then you'll continuously be pouring energy into this thing without knowing what you want to get on the other end.
So if you haven't identified in this situation what physical health really looks like, it'll never be enough. I know so many people who are gym junkies, they go to the gym. I actually go to the gym most mornings, because I really want to stay in really good shape so that I can lift my kids and wrestle with them. I have three boys, for goodness sake, and I just hit 40. So I really want to be able to wrestle with them until my 80s. I still wrestle with my dad, and he's in his mid-70s. So I want to continue that tradition. It's just like, I want to be in great shape for my kids, so I work out for my kids. Now, that's my motivation. But at the gym that I go to, there's a board that lists the top 10 members, the people who go the most. And there's one guy at the top who clocked in 50 sessions at the gym last month. That means he's going at least twice a day, every day. I have nothing against him. Maybe he has a great reason for doing it. But what I'm saying is that a lot of people can fall into this trap of obsessing over trying to micromanage their body or some aspect of them because they don't know what results they want. And so they just keep on getting more micro and start obsessing. But it's never enough, and it never creates a sense of fulfillment.
So they're always constantly chasing after something. What I'm suggesting is, again, if you can identify what it is that you truly want, it will have an external component. But that is just the vehicle to get you to the feeling, to the person that you want to be. There's Gabor Mate, who's a very famous addiction counselor. Everybody who talks about addiction always refers to him because he's somehow this preeminent scholar from Canada. Very nice that we have all these world-famous scholars. We have Jordan Peterson, Gabor Mate, all these people which is very unlikely. First time in Canadian history that people care about what we think. But anyway, this guy is so clear about addiction. He's so clear that it has an internal traumatic component. Every addiction comes from some sort of trauma according to his worldview of addiction. And I would say he knows what he's talking about. He's pretty good at what he does.
So if you have some issue in your life, say pornography addiction, you have masturbation problems, you have anger issues in your family, you're addicted to certain emotions. And a lot of people are. You might not know that you are but you might long for. I know this one guy who's addicted to the news because it gives him this rush of anger and righteousness. And for some reason, he can't tear himself away and it causes him a great deal of suffering. And there are actually quite a few. That's the only reason why the news is reacting the way that it is, is because these salacious titles provoke an emotional response. And that's why we click on, this guy slams this guy or today's title is like, this guy torches this guy. And it's all trying to trigger your emotions because that's how social media survives. That's how headlines survive and get clicks and all this. But you can become totally addicted to the emotional high, even though it's not a positive emotion.
So understanding why it is, why am I so addicted to clicking on news that only makes me feel worse about life and disempowers me? You're giving your power to social media, to the news at that point. So even removing it from your life is not enough. You still have this void. And so, the Northstar goal is, well, what do you want? What do you want? And once you start to identify what it is that you want, trust me, it won't be the heart of what you want, but it will take you. The purpose of a Northstar goal lasting 90 days and sticking with it for 90 days is because you're taking steps towards your true destiny. One 90-day cycle at a time. You're going deeper and deeper into the heart of what it is that you really, really want. Who it is that you really want to be? It's a journey. And the more that you start to embrace who you are, who you really are, who you really want to be, you also simultaneously start to let go of these bad habits that were helping you to cling on to sustaining a life being led as somebody that you're not meant to be.
You see, if you're not leading the life that you're meant to lead, you need a coping mechanism. That's why most of us have some addiction to social media or to porn or something like that, because that's how we cope with living a life that is uncomfortable, that isn't enjoyable. But it will become more enjoyable when you start to identify what it looks like to live a life of fulfillment. When you get clear on that, the appeal, the allure of all these distractions lose their power little by little until you let them go. And so, one 90-day cycle at a time, what you're doing is you're getting clear about who it is that you want to be, what it is that you want. And when you start to practice being more of that person, you can start to predict how you're going to react in certain situations. And therefore, you can predict the future more and more. So please understand the power of the Northstar goal. Please go back. We have videos on the Northstar goal. We have multiple podcasts on it trying to help you understand the value of this thing, whether you're married or single, whether you're incapacitated, whether you're 97-year-old in a bed or you're a 13-year-old and you're just brimming with energy, it's all the same. Part of being a sentient, being a human being with a soul is to constantly evolve into a better version of ourselves.
Everything's moving in the universe. Everything is kinetic, it's not stagnant. Stagnation only comes when you refuse to go with the flow of life, which happens when you're stuck emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. And if you stop moving with the flow of life, then a part of you starts dying. That's what sickness, physical, mental, emotional sickness, spiritual sickness looks like. So movement is key. And movement only really happens when, honestly speaking, when we are compelled to move, and that is when we have clarity. When you feel stuck mentally on a problem, or emotionally in a relationship, or spiritually with a lack of purpose, you slowly fall into this state of stagnation where you just don't want to do anything. You slowly collapse into yourself. And this is really dangerous because you start, in many ways, rot and fall into a comatose state. And that's where sickness definitely happens.
If you stay stuck in one place mentally for too long, that's where mental health issues arise. Basically, obviously, you have to move your bodies. You get bed sores if you stay in bed for too long. Your body starts to die in many ways. It gets really, really sick unless you move your body. When you go to self-help conferences and read all these self-help books, it's like you're inheriting other people's motivation and it gives you this short-lived half-life high where you feel good for a bit, but you didn't create that yourself. You inherited it. What gives you lasting momentum in your life is getting clearer about who it is that you're committed to being, what it is that you truly want, and start taking action based on that clarity, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, so that physically you can start making steps towards your goals.
But unless you get clear, then your actions won't be clear. And when you have unclear actions that lead to confusion and anxiety and frustration. So you don't want to do anything when you're in that state. It just feels like you can't move when you're stuck in anxiety. That's why it's so fundamentally important to first get clear mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and then subsequently, physically when you start to create goals based on that. Who is it that you want to be? So watch what happens. So the whole premise here is that 2022 will be your best year yet because you can predict that because you can commit yourself to become somebody who's more and more joyful, who's more and more connected to the sense of selves, who understands how to deal with difficulty and face your demons rather than avoiding them and allow yourself to embrace sadness and let it pass through you rather than avoiding it and all that. But for the sake of helping you grow, if you commit to this, it will happen. If you're committed to the process of understanding your emotion, understanding your past emotions, your present emotions, and committing to forming the emotions that you choose to have in the future, you will start to predict your emotions the same for your mental state, your spiritual state, your physical state.
I'm going to leave you alone. I know this is a lot to process. But just understand the power of the Northstar goal is the power of getting clear about what you want, which gives you the momentum to start taking on life and start doing great things. You're creating momentum, you have this give and take in your life, start to get excited about your life, you start to grow, and you start to experience all the positive repercussions from being engaged in a life worth living. And all of a sudden, you're immersed in creating the life that you want. And the old life that you're avoiding starts falling by the wayside. You start living according to your ideals. You start living according to your dreams. And you stop being frustrated at yourself. You stop being disappointed in yourself. You stop wanting to waste your time and energy on stuff that doesn't matter, and you start to invest in those things that do matter.
I sincerely hope that this is your best year on record. God is really looking for people who are awakened alive to do miraculous amazing things. This is the time when anything is possible, good or bad. But the destiny of our world will shift when we have a certain amount of people who are really living according to why they were born and stop settling for porn, stop settling for all this stuff that's just distracting us and keeping us enslaved to being the person that we don't want to be. So congratulations, you made it to 2022. Let's have the best year yet as High Noon, as an organization, and as a family. And let's make this world a place of healing. God bless you, guys, and I'll see you throughout this year. Peace!
Andrew Love
Hello everybody, Andrew Love here, and I just wanted to add one more point. High Noon is a non-profit organization, and we are run by donations. Although we've been doing okay, thanks to the massive generosity of our founders, the Wolfenbergers, we want to expand higher, higher, higher, higher. We want to make a global impact. We want to reach every family, we want to change the culture. And for that to happen, we're going to need a lot of volunteers and a lot of staff. That's just the reality, it takes money to travel, it takes money to do a lot of the things we do. And we want to let you be a part of this growth. And so what we've created is a donor's club, which is a $10 a month club. And when you join, you get a T-shirt mailed to your door, you can get some exclusive content, we also have some really good goodies for our tribe of people who are part of the donor's club that we're going to talk about in the coming months. So I just wanted to invite you to be one of these people. Everybody can afford $10 a month. It's just a matter of whether it's a priority. So if you feel that High Noon has impacted you positively or your family or somebody you know, please consider donating. I don't want you to give any money unless you really, really want to. But if you do want to, I encourage you to really really donate. So $10 a month is I don't know, a cat a month? I don't know how to measure it. It's a giant hamburger and french fries a month that you can sacrifice in order to help this world become a more habitable, more enjoyable, more connected, more loving place. So please consider joining our donor's club, it's just $10 a month. We look forward to seeing you on the inside of our secret society for donors. Have a good day, everybody.
